Bad blurbs in Macleans

I sound like a bit of a prick in this Macleans article about misblurbing, but when do I not?

This has happened to me just once, so far as I know, but it really pissed me off. Which isn't actually that easy a thing to do.

This very mixed review got boiled down to "a linguistic tour-de-force" for press publicity material. If the publisher had gone for "mixes diction like a magician," I'd have nothing to complain about, but he totally misrepresented my take on the book. And yeah, it has made me leery of saying wholly positive things in a review of book I don't wholly like.
